In the last week and half we have had two recoveries and both of the victims were first found by using the Humminbird Helix 10 in 35 feet or less of water. The victims were subsequently recovered by our Underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle. One of our recoveries last less than 45 minutes from launching our vessel to recovery because we were able to identify the victim quickly.

One of the officers stated, “if it wasn’t for the class I attended this spring I wouldn’t have been able to find the victim.” I am also new to the sonar world and your training has given me a strong foundation to build upon and I was easily able to identify one of the victims when we arrived on scene.
