KeymasterSAR HAWK Demo Package Instructions- Download SAR HAWK DEMO Package
- Right Click the zipped folder and select “Extract All” from the dropdown menu. Windows 10 users may see the unzipped folders but you must hit the extract all button.
- Choose a destination for the extracted file folder
- The new folder should open automatically. If not then open the folder by left clicking on the folder.
- Double left click the SARHAWK-DEMO-1.2.960.exe application
You may get a warning asking if you are sure you want to run the software. Left Click on “Run”. Windows 10 users may need to click on the “More Info” button bringing you to the “Run Anyway” button.
- Launch the software.
- Create a new project by typing a project name and clicking “create” project.
- Once the software opens click the add data icon in the upper left portion of the toolbar.
- From the dropdown menu Click Playback.
- The select files window opens. Find the SAR HAWK Demo Pack Folder and click on the Debris Pile demodata folder.
- Select the Rec00003.DA file and click Open
- Now a few quick settings on the left sidebar under Processing Controls. Click the SLS Tab
- Set clip to 0.00 and 15m – if you changed the units to feet (50 ft)
- Check Normalization
- Brightness – MINUS 6 (-6)
- Gamma 0.8
- Click the blue play button.
- Now a few quick settings Processing Controls (on left side) under the SLS Tab
- Set clip to 0.00 and 50 ft – if you work in meters (15m)
- Check Normalization
- Brightness -6
- Gamma 0.8
- Data will scroll down the waterfall and start to appear in the Mosaic Window.
If you connected to the internet, as the data plays satellite imagery will appear in the background of the mosaic window.
- Click the Minus magnifying glass above the mosaic to zoom out and get a wider picture of the coverage area.
- Zoom in on the waterfall data by clicking the magnifying glass at the top of the waterfall and drag a box across the red and green wiggle trace and down onto the data.
